Everything I have tried (smudge,salt) including prayer, very stong prayer, I might add, to the end that it is just not going anywhere. Thus, it must be here by design. Who's design? You got me!! Meanwhile, my pets are going literally "BANANAS". Chasing it around and moaning to alert me of it's presence. The pressure and ringing in the ears is to the point of being un-bearable. Which, I am guessing that my pets are affected the same,if not more so. I am at a loss. At my witts end. Confused. Not understanding why prayer hasn't removed "it" and scared that "it" may be stuck with us and follow us for the rest of our lives. I am greatly appreciative of any suggestions or comments that you might have or wish to discuss further. First the biggest I could find....Mastiffs and now two little rescued Papillons, 5 and 8 lbs. The bodies change, the pitch and tone perhaps, but the closest to God I have ever gotten on this planet without a doubt. The last time I remember thinking a lot about spirit animals was with Joseph Campbell at Esalen sometime in the 1980's. I was a little put off by my spirit animal who was some kind of red tailed fox creature from New Mexico. Lord know what I was expecting from a shamanic visit, but it was very memorable. I bought the cards today for my Mom who is 97 and has been living with me for 4 years. She is private by nature, showing neither sadness or joy to the extent that I wished sometimes, but she sat with your cards for hours and loved them. That was special. The Beaver below my home are my friends. The birds, all beings. When we become aware that this world around us (our day-dream), is constantly informing us, speaking with us, it fosters a heart feeling connection. I still think the crows got "something" going on. One cannot travel anywhere and not see or hear a crow. Even in the movies. I think they are the guardians or messengers. My affinity for the natural world around me hurts sometimes, I love it so. It is very refreshing to think of mankind on the bottom of the "intelligence chain" as it seems that many of us have a few links loose anyway. I find solace in my love of animals, and couldn't enjoy more my quest to come to understand fully their lessons and messages for me. Most can identify with the way a dog greets you when you come home, the way he/she wants nothing more than to love you unconditionally, full of drowning kisses and playful romper room excitement. The other animals are just alike in their love for and willingness to help us. They always have been, and remembering that not only are they equal to us, but are also in many, many ways more intelligent and efficient at life than we brings me a sense of peace rivaled by only the child-like excitement of discovering the mysterious and mystical world that I find it so easy to ignore.
